Keynote by Micron Vice President Dean Klein on “The Organics of SSDs”

When: January 5 - 6, 2010

Where: Storage Visions Conference, Riviera Hotel, 2901 Las Vegas Blvd South, Las Vegas, NV 89109

What: At the Storage Visions conference this week in Las Vegas, Micron will showcase its RealSSD C300 solid-state drive, the industry’s fastest SSD for desktop and laptop PCs. For media and analysts attending the event or for those arriving early for the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), make sure to stop by Micron’s booth on the Storage Visions show floor (booth #10) to see a live demonstration of the RealSSD C300 drive.

Who: Micron’s vice president of memory system development, Dean Klein, will give a keynote entitled “The Organics of SSDs.” In his keynote Klein will explain why understanding the underlying NAND architecture is critical for next-generation SSD performance and endurance. He’ll also explain how having NAND expertise opens the door to a wider array of applications that utilize solid-state technology.

Micron will also have several technology experts participating panels throughout the conference:
